Hi Everybody..Well, I am trying out a new blog..I have been inspired by some of my favorite bloggers to try something new...(i.e.
Slim Paley, Jill Roberts and Mrs Lilien)...So I am borrowing ('borrowing' being a euphemism for 'stealing,' really)
from their lexicon of entries - hoping to be blessed with their sense of style - to bring to life some of my musings on - well...all sorts of "things and stuff." I just hope that one day I can be as good as they are. So I hope you like it. Now, grab your coffee and enjoy...
I love Pink. Not just because I'm a girl, and not just because Valentine's Day is right around 'the weekend' ...and definitely not because this beloved color is featured in the March 2011 issue of House Beautiful. Well, maybe a little. They did a great job inspiring me with their cool picks for "Pink." I have to say I truly like pink because it's an equal opportunity shade. She rarely discriminates. Pink will graciously accept an invitation from Green to luncheon at a famous hotel. Pink will let Black escort her to the ballet. Pink wouldn't hesitate to accompany Gold to a dear friend's wedding and she'll even dare to join Red for a holiday affair. Pink is spontaneous. Pink can show up almost anywhere at anytime and will almost always fit right in..Pink is whimsy ..It's youthful and cheeky, too!...(ok..now gonna attempt to rhyme a little)... She is always friendly and warm and is loved by all age groups who rarely feel torn...We can always make room for this fine shade..in our homes, our wardrobes and in our hearts...We all know it's glamor will never fade. So here is some of my 'thinking' on Pink..Please don't hesitate to tell me what you think.
Well I tried!
